Welcome to the Department of Emergency Medicine at Advocate Christ Medical Center, the busiest trauma center in Illinois. Our Emergency Medicine Residency Program is one of the oldest EM programs in the country. This site is dedicated to medical students who are interested in rotating in emergency medicine at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
This rotation will introduce 4th year medical students to the principles of emergency medicine. Students will play an active role in evaluating and managing patients of all acuity while in the ED.
Our emphasis is to provide students with the best clinical and academic exposure. The rotation consists of clinical shifts, resident conference, student lectures, assigned reading, simulation cases, case presentation and a final written exam. For more rotation information check eOrientation.
